Artisans in the developing world lack access to the global economy. Novica works to employ artisans and preserve their culture around the world, while providing meaningful access to global markets. Many artisans live in rural communities and don't have the means to sell their work on the international market. Novica gives them a free platform to do this, and reach customers on a global scale while preserving indigenous culture and artistry. Since 1999, over $88M has been sent to indigenous artisans and all products are produced under fair trade standards.
Your purchase today ensures artisans in the developing world have a better tomorrow.
This Wood Travel Chess Set with Board is the perfect travel companion for strategists on the go. The artisan selects a different stain for each type of wood in this travel chess set to showcase the beautiful grain and to distinguish the light and dark chess pieces and squares on the board. Handcrafted with a magnet on the bottom of the pieces, this chessboard can be taken on different kinds of adventures.
