EcoDunia is a Verified Fair Trade social enterprise working to end the cycle of generational poverty in Nairobi. Instead of piece-work rates, every artisan earns a livable wage with sustainable hours, guaranteed paid time off, and two meals a day at the workshop. That steady, fairly paid work means artisans can cover their children's school fees and spend more time with their families, with skills training that keeps opening new doors.
Bring a little birdsong to the kitchen. Each tea towel features a detailed hand-embroidered bird on unbleached cotton, pretty enough to display and practical enough for daily use. Choose from nine designs: hummingbird, cardinal, bluebird, goldfinch, quail, dove, robin, blue jay, and woodpecker.
The natural cotton color shifts slightly from towel to towel, a sign of real handwork. Every piece is stitched by Fair Trade artisans in Nairobi, Kenya, which makes it an easy, meaningful gift for anyone who loves to cook or entertain.
