Through our partnership with EcoDunia, your gift provides dignified work with livable salaries to artisans in Kenya.
EcoDunia is a Verified Fair Trade social enterprise working to end the cycle of generational poverty in Nairobi. Instead of piece-work rates, every artisan earns a livable wage with sustainable hours, guaranteed paid time off, and two meals a day at the workshop. That steady, fairly paid work means artisans can cover their children's school fees and spend more time with their families, with skills training that keeps opening new doors.
A kitchen towel with real personality. Each one features a detailed hand-embroidered animal on unbleached cotton, bold enough to hang as decor and sturdy enough for everyday drying. Choose from six designs: lion, giraffe, cheetah, rhino, baby elephant, and zebra.
Because the cotton is left unbleached, its natural color varies slightly from towel to towel, a mark of a truly handmade piece. Each towel is stitched by Fair Trade artisans in Nairobi, Kenya, and makes a thoughtful hostess or housewarming gift.
