Most jewelry comes with a price tag and no story. Every piece here comes with a maker.

Nearly all of this collection is made by the women of Starfish Project — survivors of exploitation who are now artisans, designers and managers, earning fair wages while they rebuild. The turquoise studs, the gold-plated leaf necklaces, the mother-of-pearl Give Hope pendants: each one was shaped by someone whose life changed because people bought it. With the Give Hope earrings, a second pair goes to support a woman still waiting for her way out.

The clay bracelets are from Mudlove, hand-stamped stoneware beads on woven cord that you can customize with a word or a logo. They've become a favorite for women's conferences and team events because they're light, wearable and cost less than a round of coffees — and each one helps fund clean water.

So "ethical" here means something specific. We can tell you who made the piece, and what your order funded. That's true whether you're buying one necklace for a friend or 300 bracelets for an event.
