Adventuretown Toy Emporium believes that every child deserves a safe place to call home, even if it is only for a short time. Your gift helps the 3000 homeless mothers with children fleeing domestic violence in Los Angeles and provides daytime shelter and drop-in services including food, clothing, showers, communication, and transportation services to 1,000 homeless 12-17 year old children each year.
Our "Peek-a-boo Animal Cards" are a set of high contrast cards featuring lovable animals to help strengthen baby's eyes. For the first months of baby's lives, they can only see black, white, and red, as well as only see objects 8 to 10 inches away. These Peek-a-boo Animal Cards can be used to help baby's eyes focus, as well as build the muscles to move their eyes in all directions. When the child is older, they can be used to identify and name the animal friends.
