They hire women who are chronically unemployed and teach them to work by making nourishing products. After six to nine months, women graduate and move to a career entry-level job in the community where they can advance, prosper, and often, feel valued for the first time in their lives. The average graduation rate is 77%, with job placement at 98%. Approximately 800 women are self-sufficient and more than 18,000 women and children have been positively affected in 25 years.
