Alaya Tea is a Los Angeles based company founded by two South Asian women who grew up in households where drinking chai was daily ritual. After traveling in the Himalayan region, visiting small farmers and tea estates, Alaya's founders Esha Chhabra and Smita Satiani were keen to build a company that respects these communities, and is addressing the environmental challenges we face through agriculture. Alaya Teas are sourced from organic, biodynamic, and regenerative organic farms, and are packaged in 100% compostable packaging.
