SAWA partners with woman in Kenya to “bead life” into everyday electronics. These products use up-cycled magazines, traditional Massai beading techniques, and provide a fair “living wage” to their artisans. This includes a wage three times above the average in Kenya, health care benefits, and a secondary school education fund for their children. Now employing 30 + women in Kenya, SAWA’s goal is to be the largest beading collective in the country transforming the artisan economy in return.
Your purchase today creates employment opportunities for women in Kenya.
