Our Story

While working in the nonprofit space, we saw that most nonprofits rely heavily on donations and grants. While many of them were making and selling their own products to better sustain themselves, they lacked the resources necessary to reach a greater audience and grow their impact.

Additionally, while working in the corporate world, we saw how commonplace it was for companies to give gifts to their employees and clients. Most of these gifts were just throwaways and ended up in a junk drawer. They were never meaningful or thoughtful, just cheesy novelty products with a corporate logo on it.

At Gifts For Good, we serve companies and professionals with high quality goods that people will love to give and love to receive. We are proud to be the first company ever to fully focus on adding social impact to the corporate gifting industry.

Today, U.S. corporations spend over $60 billion every year on corporate gifts, but donate less than a third of that to charitable causes. If every corporation purchased gifts that gave back―without spending any more money―we could redirect an extra $60 billion a year to addressing our world’s most pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges. Our Leadership

Laura Hertz

CEO & Co-Founder

Laura’s diverse background spans the nonprofit sector with Fair Trade USA and AmeriCorps, and the financial services sector with Deloitte. Prior to starting Gifts for Good, Laura worked as the Creative Director of Cultural Outreach where she provided professional training to reach multicultural and millennial consumers. Laura received her B.S. from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and her Master’s in Social Entrepreneurship from USC’s Marshall School of Business.

Jerry Eisenberg

CFO & Co-Founder

Jerry is a serial entrepreneur, successfully founding a recreation center, a number of coffee kiosks, and a real estate investment firm―rehabilitating urban multi-family housing units at affordable market rents in the L.A. area. As an adventurer, he’s traveled all seven continents. Jerry holds a BA and MBA from UCLA, a JD from Loyola Law School, an MA from CSUN, and is currently completing his Master’s in Social Entrepreneurship at USC’s Marshall School of Business.

Jenise Steverding

Chief Impact Officer

Jenise’s background spans the private technology, higher education, and nonprofit sectors. As the second hire in TOMS Giving department, she scaled partnerships across the globe. As the second hire for the 2015 Special Olympics World Games, she worked on global cause marketing campaigns and sponsorships. She studied sociology and business at Westmont College and received her Master’s in Public Management at SDA Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.
