Homelessness is a societal problem which bears especially hard on women. MADE by DWC was created by the Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) to break the cycles of chronic homelessness in Los Angeles’ Skid Row community. These artisan products were created by formerly homeless women who are rebuilding self-esteem, discovering talents, and developing skills through vocational opportunities.

Please be aware that your candles can be affected by severe exposure to hot temperatures of 80 degrees or higher for long periods of time. Unfortunately, mail trucks are not air-conditioned. The customer assumes the risk if the candle melts during transit and the product may not be returned or credited if melted upon receipt.
